Membership

Find out how to become a member and the many activities we have to offer.

MONTHLY MEETINGS are held from 10am - 12pm on the 3rd Tuesday of each month, unless otherwise noted.  Speaker presentations are from 10am - 11am, with a break for refreshments before the business meeting.

We meet at The Bridge Community Center - 225 Willow Bend Road, Peachtree City, GA  30269

ANNUAL DUES are $15 per person paid through February, and $20 beginning March 1st through December 31st.

MEMBER ACTIVITIES

EDUCATIONAL LECTURES / SPEAKERS

Monthly meetings include interesting, informative lectures from experts in the field of horticulture and other gardening topics

FIELD TRIPS

Local day trips to beautiful garden sites, as well as overnight trips in neighboring states.

​

GARDEN-RELATED CRAFTS

Workshops have included fused-glass art, Origami, landscape "tin-can" flowers, leaf castings, acrylic painting classes and more.

​

PICNICS & LUNCHES

Annual "Weed and Feed" luncheon, picnics at local parks and group lunches after meetings.

​

PLANT SWAPS

Members bring their plants to the monthly meetings to exchange with others for a "prize" to add to their gardens.

​

HOLIDAY LUNCHEON & SILENT AUCTION

An annual event that features a pot luck luncheon, silent auction with proceeds going to a Fayette County Charity.

PROJECTS & FUNDING

The Fayette Master Gardener Association provides volunteer and financial aid to organiztions for projects that need FMGA's fundamental values for volunteerism and education.  These are projects that make a difference in our community by promoting selfless service in community beautification and projects that extend horticultural opportunities to all in Fayette County, Georgia

​

The main sources of income to provide financial support to these Fayette County organizations are the Annual Plant Sale, Annual Internet Plant Sale and the Bi-annual Garden Tour.  The following are some of the organizations that FMGA is proud to have helped sponsor:
